How can we help you?

Artists

ArtCrowd is a crowdfunding platform dedicated exclusively to connecting Fine Artists and Fine Art Organizations with their supporters to help them realize their creative potential, build their artistic brand and fund their work. There are many options for crowdfunding out there that claim they are for artists, but none understand the particular needs of Fine Art. ArtCrowd understands art because ArtCrowd was designed by artists, art lovers and art professionals for artists, art lovers and art professionals.

ArtCrowd is free to create a profile, free to exhibit your art, free to build your creative brand and free to design a funding campaign. There are never any costs until you complete a successful funding campaign. When you succeed, ArtCrowd deducts a standard crowdfunding fee of 5% and a credit card payment processing fees (between 3% and 5%) from successfully funded campaigns and site based sales. You never have to pay out a cent to ArtCrowd. If you don’t succeed, we don’t charge you, ever!

ArtCrowd provides you with a platform to present your artistic brand. While other online platforms focus on trying to sell art, we know that is usually a race to the bottom. At ArtCrowd we want to take you to the top, so we focus on helping you to build and market your creative identity. We provide exclusive art focused crowdfunding tools you can use to attract attention to your art and find interesting ways to fund it. There are no gatekeepers like grant judges or exhibition juries. Just you and the network you build, the only limit, your ingenuity and energy.

ArtCrowd is exclusively for original Fine Artists and Organizations working with Original Fine Art. We recognize that there are many other worthy types of creativity out there that deserve attention and funding, but we don’t want to be a “Swiss Army Knife, “ solution, trying to please everyone. We are dedicated to one thing and one thing only, funding Original Fine Art.

Patrons

Campaigns offer Patrons the opportunity to select from a number of gift Rewards in exchange for funding from the Campaign they are supporting. Alternately, a Patron can choose to not receive a reward for their funding. But either way, patronage ushers an art lover into the world of the artist they are funding with a unique view into their process and a chance to be personally involved in its creation.

Within about 15 days of a Campaigns successful completion, ArtCrowd will fund the campaign creator. The campaign creator is solely responsible for fulfilling the promised rewards according to the schedule established for each reward. It is the obligation of every campaign creator to see to it that their patrons receive the rewards they expect. ArtCrowd offers creators fulfillment management tools online to monitor the process but does not intervene in an individual campaigns execution or stratification of delivery.

Patrons need to appreciate that they are supporting the creation of something new, not ordering an artwork that already exists. Problems may arise that prevent a creator from fulfilling a reward promise but then the creator must make every reasonable effort to find a way of bringing the project to a satisfying conclusion for their backers. For more information, see our Terms of Use

Every Creator on ArtCrowd can exhibit an Online Gallery of their artwork at no cost. Just as it is free to exhibit in the ArtCrowd, it is also free to create your own ArtCrowd Art Collection.

The funding goal is the amount of money you need to raise to complete objective of the campaign, Funding is all or nothing. Your patrons will not be charged if your campaign does not reach its funding goal. So designing an attainable objective is crucial to success.

Patrons are the generous art lovers who fund your campaign to make your art goals a reality.

Rewards are the gifts, Patrons select in recognition of their funding. The best rewards are limited unique experiences and by products related to the creative process for which you are seeking funding. Rewards are not intended as a means for selling your art, as in an commercial online gallery. Instead it is best to offer experiences like a chance to spend a day in your studio, or the chance to go on a nature walk with the artist to find sites for landscape paintings, or just meet the artist in a cafe or bar for a beverage. The most successful campaigns are the ones that do more than just raise money, they develop relationships with your supporters. A successful funding campaign does more than just make the goal possible, it creates long term benefits for both the campaign creator and the patron.
